The 35th IraSME call for proposals between Austria, Belgium (Region Flanders and Wallonia), Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg and Türkiye is open.

Joint international research and development projects of companies and research institutions are funded through various national and regional funding programmes. The project results should lead to new innovative products, services or more efficient processes. In Germany, the projects are funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM). For an overview of the participating countries/regions and their funding programmes, please visit www.ira-sme.net/countries-regions. The Czech Republic will take part in the 35th call for proposals and the subsequent 36th call for proposals. It is possible to submit an application for German-Czech IraSME projects at any time.

Deadline for applications is 26 March 2025.
The announcement and the joint application form for the current call for proposals can be found on the respective pages of the participating countries and regions.

______

It is highly recommended that each interested partner (companies and research institutes) contact their local funding agency before starting to fill in a project application (in Germany: AiF Projekt GmbH, project management agency for BMWK).

To encourage partnerships between German and foreign companies, BMWK and several ministries and funding organizations from various countries have launched a number of bi- and multilateral funding agreements to support joint R&D projects. All project partners must submit a separate application to the relevant national funding scheme. German applicants, who are eligible for funding under ZIM, benefit from a 10% increase in funding when applying for a transnational cooperation project.
